Groups at the Baltimore Basilica are groups of 6-12 people in a similar state of life who meet regularly (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) to grow in faith together. These meetings center around four pillars of Christian discipleship:
LEARN together through reflection on God's Word and through other resources suited to their needs (e.g. videos, books, or small group guides) under the advisement of the Pastor or his staff.
PRAY together through shared prayer and the testimony of God's workings in their life.
CELEBRATE together through the liturgy and the sacramental life of the Church via Sunday Mass and regular Confession.
SHARE the love of Jesus with each other through authentic conversation and mutual accountability, and spur each other on to share the love of Jesus with others through evangelization, service and giving.
If you’re interested in joining a group, please view the list of our active communities, or reach out to Angelus Virata, Director of Evangalization.
The Young at Heart ministry exists to form joyful missionary disciples of Jesus Christ who transform hearts under the guidance of the Blessed Virgin Mary for those who are 55 and over at the Baltimore Basilica.
Join us for monthly Mass, rosary, and devotionals followed by lunch or contact Angelus Virata to get a schedule of our upcoming formation, service, and fellowship events!
We look forward to welcoming you to the group!
